MEMORIES

Around this time of year in 2008 and 2009, I was packing my bags about to fly up over Australia to the amazing islands of Indonesia. For anyone who hasn’t travelled to these parts of the world before IT IS A MUST. The people are among the friendliest and most accommodating in the world and well it ticks off most of the boxes people look for in a holiday destination. Bali in particular is still my favourite place in the world. Amazing waves, amazing lifestyle, amazing food, amazing nightlife and awesome weather during the Australian winter are just some of the drawcards that bring me back time and time again to this beautiful little island. Heres some memories from the past 2 years with thaaa boissss that I most certainly will miss this july. x

DOCO FEVER

Scientific documentaries are next level. Ever since seeing the Academy Award winning flick " The Cove" (showcasing some seriously ballsy scientists trying to bring down the dolphin drives that occur annually in Japan), ive become fascinated by these types of films and equally as impressed by the dedication these people go too, simply to demonstrate and express their views. Rick O, Barry is one such person, the guy is pure inspiration and has spent his life trying to change an industry that he believes he helped create. enough of the rant go and watch them for yourself. Heres the trailer, along with a newer doco by Rupert Murray " The End of the Line" looking at the global issue of overfishing. BOTH ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

TRIBUTE: Yesterday i watched the Notorious movie for the first time since i saw it in the cinemas. Amazing film, Amazing human and hands down the best rapper of alltime. The Brooklyn raised legend inspired a new gen of rappers to emerge with his tight rhymes and hard talk, teaching not only the struggling youth of New York about guns, but also the skill and ability to rap about using guns... Heres a few pics of the man himself and 2 mashups that show that the right track can be mixed together very well with just about anything.
