As i sit in my cute lil college pad, watching the yankees demolish their competition, bud light in hand, beats flaring, these two songs suddenly came to mind. Echoes, one of my alltime favourite party jams, no lyircs just tight tight beats and a near perfect 3 mins of hard hitting beats from example . Cant think of a better way to get myself scyed for tonights keg party. owww yerrrrr. USA USA USA USA.

Cancer to Capricorn - The Path of the Modern Gypsy
Reefs latest team film, Cancer to Capricorn was given to me for free at an ocean beach surf store in San francisco. I immediately shrugged it off and threw it to the depth of my laptop bag as lets be honest, good films usually require a fee. Im not usually a fan of surf flicks due to the putrid waves that they seem to be constantly filmed in, however this movie blewww mee away. Pumping Gold Coast, Flawless P Pass, 10 second 2ft pits in Mexico and some alltime Indo. dreamy stuff jammed together to a seriously tight soundtrack with the likes of Mike Snow, Yeasayer, Jack Penate, Edward Sharpe and Magnetic Zeroes, The xx and the Sounds.
heres the Micronesia and El Salvador section of the movie.

CONCRETE JUNGLE WERE DREAMS ARE MADE OF.
NYC is world renowned as being one of, it not the best city in the world and i now understand why. It is a fast paced intense place full of people from every walk of life all chasing paper and the america dream, which is what i think seems to give the city its charm and diverse nature. Definitely a place that everyone should make an effort to see and experience in their lifetime.
few pics below from the couple days and nights i spent there. Times square, Central park, Brooklyn, The Museum of Modern art, Phantom of the opera on Broadway, Greenwich village, Rockefeller centre and the array of avenues and streets that form the grid that is New York City.
